The XH-4G01 is a versatile 4G GSM gate receiver designed to provide remote access control for compatible sliding and swing gate automation systems. Installed alongside the gate control board, the receiver allows authorised users to trigger the gate from a mobile phone, making it a practical solution for residential properties, commercial sites, warehouses, unit complexes and other locations where multiple users require convenient gate access.

The receiver operates through a compatible Micro SIM card and supports remote control through phone calls, SMS and app-based operation. When an authorised user calls the XH-4G01, the receiver can identify the stored phone number, reject the call and activate its relay output to trigger the connected gate control board. Because the call does not need to be answered, this can allow gate activation without normal voice-call charges, subject to the SIM provider and network service being used.

Designed with a dry-contact relay output, the XH-4G01 can be connected to the open, start or trigger input of a wide variety of sliding and swing gate control boards. This makes it largely independent of the gate motor brand itself, provided the control system has a suitable dry-contact input and the receiver is supplied with the correct operating voltage.

Mobile Gate Access

One of the main advantages of the XH-4G01 is the ability to provide gate access without requiring every user to carry a physical remote. Up to 300 authorised phone numbers can be configured on the receiver, making it particularly useful for sites with multiple residents, staff members, contractors or regular visitors. Authorised users can operate the gate from virtually anywhere with suitable mobile network connectivity. This can also be useful when access needs to be provided remotely, allowing an authorised user to trigger the gate even when they are not physically near the property.

Multiple Control Options

The XH-4G01 supports three primary methods of operation: mobile app, SMS and telephone call control. This provides flexibility in how the gate is managed and allows the system to be configured around the requirements of the installation. Giant Autogate

The relay activation time can also be adjusted from approximately 1 to 999 seconds, allowing the output to be configured as a short gate trigger or for applications requiring a longer relay activation period. App-based timer and countdown functions are also supported.

Gate Status Monitoring

The XH-4G01 includes a dry-contact input that can be connected to a suitable external gate or door sensor. When configured correctly, this allows the receiver to monitor the gate’s position and provide an alert if the gate remains open, adding another level of convenience and system monitoring.

Sliding & Swing Gate Compatibility

The XH-4G01 can be used with both sliding and swing gate automation systems. Rather than directly powering the gate motor, the receiver sends a dry-contact command to the gate control board, allowing the existing automation system to perform the normal opening or closing sequence. This makes the receiver a useful addition to new gate installations as well as many existing automation systems where mobile-phone access is being added as an alternative or supplement to traditional gate remotes.
