Cement Australia Builders Cement is a premium general-purpose blended cement designed for a wide range of concrete, mortar, render and grout applications. Manufactured from a uniform blend of Portland cement with fly ash and/or slag, it provides improved workability, later-age strength and enhanced durability, making it a versatile choice for both trade and general construction use. It complies with AS 3972 requirements for Type GB (General Purpose Blended), Type SL (Shrinkage Limited) and Type SR (Sulfate Resisting) cement.

Builders Cement can be combined with clean sand and aggregate in the appropriate proportions to produce concrete for applications such as paths, driveways, slabs, foundations and footings, or mixed with sand and lime for mortar and render applications. Clean water should be added gradually until a workable consistency is achieved, with care taken not to over-water the mix. Cement Australia recommends keeping completed work moist for approximately 7 days to support proper curing and strength development.
