The TruClose® HEAVY DUTY Series 3 Safety Cone Cap is designed to improve the safety of pool fencing and child safety gates by preventing young children from using the bottom gate hinge as a foothold. Its tapered, cone-shaped design discourages climbing, providing an additional layer of protection around swimming pools and other restricted areas.

Manufactured from durable, UV-resistant engineering polymer, the safety cap is designed for long-lasting outdoor performance. Specifically designed to fit the TruClose® HEAVY DUTY Series 3 Gate Hinges, it installs directly onto the bottom hinge using a simple screw-on fixing method. Its discreet design blends seamlessly with the hinge assembly, maintaining a clean, professional finish without compromising the gate's operation.

Under the Australian Pool Fencing Standards AS1926.1, a 60-degree cone safety cap (or anti-climb safety cone) is required on the lower hinge only if the distance between the top of the lower hinge and the top of the upper hinge is less than 900mm.
