The 2100x1000mm Heavy Security Crimp Top Single Gate provides a strong, durable and low-maintenance access solution for residential, commercial, industrial and institutional applications. Featuring a traditional crimped spear top design with closer rod spacing, the gate is ideal for pedestrian entrances, property boundaries, warehouses, factories, schools, childcare centres and general-purpose security access where additional height, strength and restricted openings are desired.

Manufactured from steel, the gate provides excellent strength and durability for demanding outdoor applications. Featuring 25x25x1.2mm square rods with 90mm internal spacing, supported by 40x40x1.6mm square rails and frame, the gate provides a sturdy and consistent design that complements our matching Heavy Security Crimp Top Fencing Panels. The crimped spear tops extend 150mm above the upper rail, creating a distinctive security-focused appearance while maintaining airflow and visibility.

Department of Education (DET) Requirements

The closer 115mm rod centres align with the nominal picket spacing specified in NSW Department of Education tubular steel security fencing requirements, falling under EFSG.2026 (The Educational Facilities Standards and Guidelines) and the F&B.0242 (Fences & Barriers 0242 v2.0), making this configuration relevant for schools, educational facilities and other projects requiring closer spacing.

It is important to note that many Department of Education school security fencing specifications require an overall fence height of approximately 2150mm, with a typical ground clearance requirement of 50–150mm between the bottom of the fence and the finished ground level. As this gate measures 2100mm high, installing it with a 50mm ground clearance achieves an overall height of 2150mm. However, increasing the ground clearance beyond 50mm will also increase the overall installed height accordingly. Customers undertaking school, childcare or government projects should confirm the required overall height, ground clearance, gate hardware, locking mechanisms, construction and installation specifications before purchasing.
